At ZEI Pottery, we believe that creativity thrives where art and learning meet. Our classes are designed to develop both technical skills and personal expression—whether you’re a curious beginner or a returning maker. By combining hands-on instruction with open exploration, we offer a space where everyone can find their own rhythm in clay.
Our Story
We’re Zey and John. Together, we are ZEI Pottery.
One of us is a detail-oriented software developer, the other a fine arts graduate with a passion for design. With different ways of seeing the world but a shared love for clay, we discovered ceramics and fell in love with it. After receiving professional training, we founded ZEI Pottery in 2020 to share our journey and build something that reflects both of us.
Now, as two recently arrived immigrants in Canada, we’ve planted our roots in the heart of Toronto—College West. In this space shaped by contrast and harmony, we continue to learn, teach, and grow together. Our studio is where technique meets aesthetics, and difference becomes strength.
