Zei Pottery Studios Inc. (“Zei Pottery”, “we”, “us”) operates pottery studios at 988 Queen St. W and 1102 College St. in Toronto, Ontario, and the website zeipottery.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

Bookings and purchases: your name, email address, phone number, billing address and the classes, memberships or gift cards you buy.
Payments: card payments are processed by WooPayments (powered by Stripe). We do not see or store your full card number.
Forms and messages: information you send us through our website forms (for example private event requests or the Kids Program waitlist), by email, Instagram or WhatsApp.
Gift cards: the recipient’s name and email address and your message, so we can deliver the gift card.
Website usage: pages visited, device and browser information and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools such as Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats.

How we use your information

To manage your bookings, send confirmations, class updates and pickup notifications for your finished pieces.
To process payments, refunds and gift cards.
To reply to your questions and event requests.
To send news and offers by email, only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
To understand how our website is used and to improve it and our advertising.
To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host (Hostinger), payment processor (WooPayments/Stripe), email marketing provider (Omnisend), and Google (analytics and advertising). These providers may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, and are required to protect it.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and purchase records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal and tax requirements, and then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to marketing, by emailing info@zeipottery.com. We will respond within 30 days.
