CLASS STRUCTURE

• This is a one-time, 2.5-hour sculpting class. The final 30 minutes are reserved for studio cleanup.
• You’ll be introduced to the basics of clay sculpture using handbuilding techniques like pinching, joining, and shaping forms. Whether you want to sculpt a face, a creature, or an abstract form, you’ll be encouraged to follow your creative instincts.
• Our instructor will demonstrate sculpting methods and guide you through building structure, creating texture, and refining details.
• Once your piece is finished, it will be bisque fired, glazed, and glaze fired by our studio team.
• Finished work will be ready for pickup in approximately four weeks. You’ll receive an email once your work is out of the kiln and ready to go.
• Please note: There are NO make-up classes. Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded under any circumstances. We appreciate your understanding.
• Please note: Pottery is a beautifully unpredictable craft. Sometimes the kiln gods are kind… sometimes they’re not. Zei Pottery Studio cannot be held responsible for cracks, warping, glaze surprises, or other unexpected outcomes that happen during firing. But don’t worry—your instructor will help you create something built to survive the adventure.
